COMMONWEALTH GAMES+ CORRUPTION=

Shame for India

It was more than two years ago when the gossips about the slow construction of stadium for the games was started and its, must say, 'a shame!', that the officials have not let the critics down.

Mr. Suresh Kalmadi has many a times assured that the work is on shedule and will be completed on time, but the monsoons and the opening of the underconstruction stadium have made a satire on his own assurance. There was a news that a stadium, the cost of which was estimated around Rs.628 crores  end up with a cost of over Rs.11,000 crores, over 17 times the estimated.

Well must say it is apart and parcel in India, but it being 17 times is a irony to the corruption in India, and it being on the highest level.

Consider if the construction is not completed on time than what the people like Kalmadi can do? They can just feel sorry and can explain the whole story in one word as UNFORTUNATE !

But what now now when the countdown has just hit? Its true that seeing our country's financial condition we have a huge task and the world nows it as well, but what the country like China did by hosting the olympics makes us ashamed alot from the beginning of ours.

But a million dollar question is, 'What to do now? '. Lets hope for the best, simple as that!

May the games bring prosperity and fame to the country...!
